How To Configure App Password For Gmail SMTP

From Google's security update since 2022. You will need to enable 2-factor authentication and create an app-specific password. Follow the steps below to get this done.

Step 1: Log into your Gmail account

Step 2: Go to "Manage your Google Account"

Step 3: Enable 2-factor authentication

Note: You will only get the app password result as highlighted in the above screenshot (Point 5) after you have enabled the 2FA

Step 4: Create an app password.

Step 5: Copy the app password and save it somewhere as this appears only after creating it.
